In 1966, Ernest Kennard began his real estate career in southern Ohio as a salesman. In 1970, he earned his Ohio broker’s license and soon established Kennard Realty, which specialized in residential sales. Shortly thereafter Mr. Kennard became licensed in the bordering state of Kentucky thereby vastly expanding the reach of this concern. Popular and active in the business community, he served as Secretary and Treasurer of the Board of Realtors, a member of the Board of Directors for fourteen years and in 1977, he was elected President of the Board and served four consecutive terms.

In search of greater economic interest, Mr. Kennard relocated to Tampa, Florida in 1984 where he launched his second brokerage after a preparation period of marketing new homes for a leading national builder. As a result, he gained an extensive education in relocating homebuyers. With thirty-three years of experience in residential sales and assisting with relocations of clients. Mr. Kennard has distinguished himself as an accomplished and sensitive professional with an affinity for personalized service. In fact, eighty percent of his clients are repeat sellers, buyers, and referrals.

A resident of the Tampa Bay area for the past 20 years, Alan Gaddie earned his real estate license in 1994 and joined Kennard Realty as a Sales Associate. Alan has established himself as a Multi-Million Dollar Producer and has achieved over $4 million in sales for the past 4 years. Mr. Gaddie has quickly established himself as a first-rate Realtor and has simultaneously refined his personal, client caring style. He is a competent, experienced and amiable achiever who always places the needs of his clients first. Alan's reputation is supported by the fact that 86% of his business consists of referrals and of previous buyers and sellers.

Prior to becoming a Realtor Associate with Kennard Realty, Alan had a successful 24 years of Sales Management with a large corporation. Alan has a lovely wife of 28 years and two sons. He is very active in his church and many of its activities and programs.

Mr. Kennard has decided to transfer the day to day operations to Mr. Gaddie. Kennard Realty has taken on the name of Kennard Realty Group, Inc. as of October 26, 2000.
