 | (Past Broker, Retired) In 1966, Ernest Kennard began his real estate career in southern Ohio as a salesman. In 1970, he earned his Ohio Broker's license and soon established Kennard Realty which specialized in residential sales. Shortly thereafter, Ernie became licensed in the bordering state of Kentucky, thereby vastly expanding the reach of his concern. Popular and active in the business community, he served as Secretary and Treasurer of the Board of Realtors, a member of the Board of Directors for fourteen years and in 1977, he was elected President of the board and served four consecutive terms.
In search of greater economic interest, Ernie relocated to Tampa, Florida in 1984 where he launched his second brokerage after a preparation period of marketing new homes for a leading national builder. As a result, he gained an extensive education in relocating home buyers. With 35 years of experience in residential sales and assisting with relocations of clients, Ernie has distinguished himself as an accomplished and sensitive professional with an affinity for personalized service. In fact, over 80% of his clients are repeat sellers, buyers and referrals. Ernie has retired after a successful career in Real Estate.

 | (Broker/Associate) Moving to Tampa in 1974 from Illinois where I was Chief Deputy Circuit Clerk of Wabash County and having worked for over 16 years as a legal secretary in Illinois, Indiana and Florida, I obtained my real estate license in 1977 and the Broker's license in 1984. With 28 years of experience, I joined the firm of Kennard Realty, now Kennard Realty Group, Inc. My business is built upon personalized individual service to my clients, with 90% of the business coming from the kind referrals of former customers. My husband, Jack, and I are active members in the community and our church. We are devoted to our "new" best friend, Casey, a female Terrier mix who we rescued a year and half ago through the Lost Angels Animal Rescue Group.

 | (THE BEST TEAM-Realtors) Jim was born in North Carolina and has lived in Tampa most of his life. Kathy is a native of Tampa. Both are graduates of USF, Jim with a BS in Managerial Finance and Kathy with a BA and a MA in Elementary Education. Together, they have seen firsthand the phenomenal growth and development of the Tampa Bay area.
Jim has been in the real estate profession since 1979 and has worked on both sides of the bay. He has sold real estate in Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco Counties. He has been active in corporate relocation, managed an office in Palm Harbor and was a member of the Tarpon Springs Chamber of Commerce. Jim has been with Kennard Realty since 1993. With his many years in the business, he has EXPERIENCE representing both buyers and sellers. His special expertise is creative financing.
Kathy worked for the Hillsborough County School Board for many years as a teacher and elementary school administrator. With her background in educational leadership and having obtained her real estate license in 2001, she brings organizational skills and ENTHUSIASM to the team. Kathy earned the designation of GRI (Graduate REALTOR Institute) in February, 2004.

Kathy is a member of the Fern Garden Club of Odessa and Women's Council of Realtors (WCR). Jim and Kathy love to go "antiquing" together. They love their church and are active in it.
